The five year strategic plan (2013-2017) identifies three key initiatives to help promote employable education, alleviate poverty, and develop high potential future leaders.
Education Scholarships.
Diya is targeting 50,000 annual scholarships
for talented, financially distressed
students by 2017. The screening program
has been further enhanced to focus on high
impact and employable field of studies.
Vocational Training Stipends.
By 2017, the objective is to reach out to 50,000
beneficiaries annually, helping them
acquire skills which are employable
and export focused.
Future Leaders Program (EXCEL).
By 2017, the objective is to groom 100 exceptional
students with potential to be the future leaders of
Pakistan in their respective fields.
This will be achieved through coaching,
scholarship and career advisory services.
To achieve this goal, Diya will require
an estimated $3 to $5 million in donations
annually. We believe this can be achieved.
Diya is seeking support from individuals,
corporates and financial institutions
for this noble cause.
